Mutapa Fund receives US$22,5 million dividend from its gold unit

The Mutapa Investment Fund has received a whopping US$22,5 million dividend share from its minerals unit, testifying to a strong year.
The Mutapa Investment Fund (MIF) confirmed the dividend during a briefing, pointing to firm gold prices and improved operational efficiency at its mining subsidiary.
Officials say the payout will be channelled towards strategic national projects, though calls for greater transparency on allocation continue.
